Langulaire is a display typeface designed by Loris Pernoux.
Langulaire is a display typeface that has been design with contrasty curves mixed with at least one ninety degree angle for each character. It finds its aspiration somewhere in-between the images at the basis of hieroglyphs, graffiti and calligraphy. Its evocative design creates letterforms that need to be deciphered, that are deceptively suggestive of a new language and challenges the reader to a more pictorial mode of expression.
